The Outhouse Poets return to Austin’s most storied dance hall for a Saturday night headliner — two full sets of original country, Western swing, and outlaw gospel under the low tin ceiling where legends have played for over sixty years.

What to Expect

Doors open at seven-thirty. The first set kicks off at nine sharp with a run through the new album front to back — every song from Neon & Sawdust played live for the first time in Austin. The second set loosens up into deep cuts, fan requests, and a few covers that belong in a place like this.

Joining the band for both sets is fiddle player Clara Reyes, fresh off a residency at the Continental Club. Her twin-fiddle harmonies with lead guitarist Hank Dawson have been tearing up rehearsals all week.

The Broken Spoke is the kind of room where the music talks to the walls and the walls talk back. You don’t perform there — you have a conversation.

Cody Revell, lead vocals

The Spoke keeps things real — no reserved seating, cash bar, chicken-fried steak on the menu, and a dance floor that’s been polished by a million boots. Get there early if you want a table. Parking fills up fast on Saturday nights, so carpool or rideshare from downtown.

  • All ages welcome — under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Two sets: 9:00 PM and 10:45 PM
  • Special guest fiddle player Clara Reyes
  • Merch table with limited-edition Broken Spoke tour poster

Tickets are available online or at the door while they last. This room holds about two hundred people and the last three Outhouse Poets shows here sold out before showtime. Don’t wait on this one.
